Best Way to Hide Your Affiliate Page
The untrusted 301 redirect
I’m not sure if it was out of laziness or just not understanding the Internet better…….
I used to buy a domain and have it set to automatically redirect to my Clickbank affiliate pages. That way if someone typed in www.mydomain.com they would end up automatically at www.clickbankproduct.com hop=myhop
This was very easy by setting up a 301 redirect in the websites control panel.
Best way to hide your affiliate page
The best way to hide you affiliate page is by utilizing a hidden frame.
So, when a person goes to www.mydomain.com they will see the affiliate page, but, they will still see the www.mydomain.com in the address bar instead of the affiliate link.
This “trick” gains a lot of trust with your prospective client. I have tried it and it has greatly improved my sales.
Here is the code… (I wish i could site where I got this code from but I don’t remember)
Copy the below code, edit it, and save it as your webpages index.htm, default.htm or index.php

So, does it mean that you buy domain for each affiliate you have?

@Dana Absolutely.
I buy a $10 domain for each product. All I have to do is sell one product and the domain is paid for
I still prefer plugins for hiding my affiliate links since it is easier.
